This workshop is for anyone who would like to grow a vibrant patch of strawberries in a planter in their backyard or porch.
Emily Round, ifarm’s head gardener, will be teaching participants her methods for growing abundant organic strawberries. Participants will learn how to plant a patch of strawberries in a cascading terra cotta planter that will require low maintenance and begin producing berries by August of this year. Each person will be given ten Seascape everbearing strawberry plants and a terra cotta planter (shown below) as a part of the class.
We will plant our berries in a terra cotta strawberry planter in class. These artisan terra cotta planters will produce cascading berries from August through October and look beautiful on a porch.
