Participants will stroll through our verdant garden and pick their own show-stopping Dahlia flowers. We have over 30 different varieties of Dahlias (!) and will provide a palette of colors to play with.
Emily Round, ifarm’s vivacious garden manager, will provide a variety of seasonal, elegant materials from our bursting flower fields and gardens to pull the arrangement together.
Depending on what is in peak perfection for harvest during the class, this could include scabiosa, cosmos, snapdragons, bee balm, celosia, zinnias, basil, mint, or scented geraniums.
Mason jars are a simple vase option that create a clean farmhouse feel and showcase large flowers like Dahlias very well. We will provide a myriad of colorful ribbons, twine, and raffia as optional adornment for the mason jar.
The cost of the class includes one mason jar flower bouquet (a $25 value). If we have extra flower material, participants may have the option to make additional mason jars for an additional $25 fee.
