What is ifarm?

ifarm LLC is a historic, Federal era farmstead, located in Essex County, MA, which has been lovingly and painstakingly restored to its mid-19th century grandeur. Livestock at home on the 19 acre permaculture farm include: two spotted draft horses, a flock of Shetland sheep, a flock of chickens, two beehives, two cats, and over 200 different varieties of plants. The farm is solar-powered and framed by the natural beauty of Towne pond and the 1,000-acre Boxford State Forest.

Our mission is to help connect our community with the natural world. To this end, we offer farm-based education for children, a range of workshops for adults, and wholesale organic medicinal herbs. Preserving the farming history of New England and the beauty of our land is an essential part of ifarm’s mission. We are grateful to share this wonderful heritage with our community!
